Fur Consumer Demand Survey: Seven key findings
This study is aimed at understanding the consumption patterns of fur by Chinese consumers, in order to more effectively promote a “Fur Free” initiative in China, which would have positive effects on animal welfare, environment conservation, and public health.
ACTAsia’s pioneering surveys – conducted between 2018 and 2024 – are the world’s first and most extensive studies on fur usage and consumption patterns.
The study’s findings have been transformed into 7 infographics to highlight the significant threat the global fur farming industry presents to human, animal and environmental health.
