Global Luxury brand Kering, who owns 12 major fashion brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen, has declared that they will be going fur free across all brands. This is major news for the fashion industry and sends a strong message to other corporate fashion houses. The move was announced on Friday 24th September and Vogue Business were keen to speak to Pei, who campaigns tirelessly for fur free fashion.

China has been gripped by a new type of reality TV show. But who are the stars of this must-watch TV show? Models? Celebrities? Sports personalities?
No, the unlikely stars of the show are a herd of elephants who have captivated the nation. More than 8 million Chinese viewers have been glued to the travels of 15 elephants who have been making their way to northwards from the border of Myanmar and Laos. They have already trekked more than 500km after leaving a nature reserve last year in search of food shelter and water as the nature reserve could no longer sustain the family. And this is not an isolated incident as at least three other elephant families have fled in search of basic needs.
ACTAsia invited to speak at UN High Level Political Forum
ACTAsia’s, CEO, Pei Su was recently invited to speak at the United Nations High Level Political Forum (HLPF) alongside key names from EU Commission, World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), EcoHealth Alliance and other international leading NGOs. The HLPF is the main United Nations platform on sustainable development and has been in operation since 2013.

We are thrilled that ACTAsia’s Caring for Life Children’s Education programme (CFL) has been recognised as being ‘good practice’ by the UN Department of Economic & Social Affairs and listed in its ‘Good Practices’ Database.
