Global women’s lifestyle magazine ELLE, announced yesterday, (2 December 2021), that they will be going fur free across all their publications. ELLE is the biggest-selling fashion magazine in the world and has a global fashion reach with 45 editions of the magazine worldwide. ELLE will stop using fur in all its editorial and advertising content worldwide, becoming the first major publication to do so.

Microplastics come from a variety of sources, including from larger plastic debris that degrades into smaller pieces. Microplastics are present in a variety of products, from cosmetics to synthetic clothing to plastic bags and bottles. Many of these products readily enter the environment in waste.
