Host an event
- Dinner, either sponsored by a local restaurant or home-made if you’re up to it!
- Coffee morning
- Garage sale or fair
- Charity ball
- Presentation - give a talk to your social group, a school, or a care home.
- Auctions and raffles. You can raffle or auction goods, donated by friends, family and local businesses.
- Bingo night
- Competition on painting, talent, or games. Or get some teams together for a sports competition.
Find companies that want to sponsor the venue or goods. Seek local newspapers to promote your event.

Get yourself sponsored when walking, running, climbing or any other activity you can think of.
Celebrating for Animals
For your wedding, birthday of anniversary, consider asking for donations instead of presents.
