Animals in Asia: much abused, little protected
Helping people to help animals
ACTAsia has developed a programme that delivers knowledge, tools and platforms to help individuals and groups become effective campaigners for animal protection.
We provide training and mentoring, and work with them on joint projects.

Thousands of stray animals roam the streets of China and suffer from accidents and abuse. Neutering cats and dogs would greatly contribute to solving the problem.
In a unique collaboration between animal welfare groups and veterinary assocations, training workshops are being held for vets in Shenzhen and Beijing. Beside practice in latest neutering techniques, animal welfare in a clinical setting is discussed and the essential role of vets in promoting neutering.
